Terms of Service

These Terms govern the browser game THE CHICKEN KATSU (the “Service”) provided by THE CHICKEN KATSU Operations (ojthon) (the “Operator”).

1. Acceptance

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Guest play and optional Google saving

The Service can be used without signing in. Google saving is optional. Existing records from the first device are imported only when a new saved account is created. When an existing account signs in on another device, that device’s guest records are not merged.

3. Rankings and display names

Results may be automatically published to the ranking with your in-game display name. Do not use personal information, unlawful or discriminatory content, or content that infringes another person’s rights. The Operator may hide records when necessary.

4. Prohibited conduct

• Submitting fraudulent scores, modifying the program, automating play, or otherwise undermining ranking integrity.
• Overloading or harming the Service, infrastructure, or other users.
• Violating law, public policy, or third-party rights.
• Bypassing authentication or security controls.

5. Badges and seasons

Badge criteria, season dates, and ranking rules are shown in the Service. A title is calculated from the current season’s best score and is not a permanent asset. The Operator may correct records or badges affected by abuse or technical faults.

6. Intellectual property

Rights in the Service’s software, design, text, images, and other content belong to the Operator or their lawful owners. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission unless separately authorized.

7. Changes and suspension

The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service for maintenance, incidents, product changes, or other reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to protect data but do not guarantee permanent availability or complete retention.

8. Disclaimers and limitation

The Service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or special loss arising from unavailability, data loss, third-party service failure, or use of the Service.
